"Bonnie Prince Charlie"-Take a close look at the face of the Scot in the Wall Hanging of "the Royal Scot". That is "Bonnie Prince Charlie," Charles Stewart (Stuart), pretender to the Crown of Scotland and England in 1745. His Highlanders around him, he fought a loosing battle against far superior British forces, reinforced By many lowlanders and The Campbells of Argyle. The war was about Catholic Highlands against Protestant Flat Landers as well as ousting a German ruler of England, part of the entrenched Royal families through out Europe and Russia . Scotland raged with fanatical struggles in the name of Christ over the years. God's message was LOVE! Few if any throughout history have caught onto that even yet. Always , in the Lust for Territory, finances or just plain power, it is " do as I say or I'll kill you.".........

The Scottish Thistle is the national plant. According to popular accepted history, a group of bare foot Raiders were about to pounce on an unsuspecting camp of Scots in the Dark when one (Viking, I suppose,) stepped into a thistle and let out an involuntary yelp. That alerted the Scots and they defeated the invaders, and upon determining the cause from the last dying breath of the "yelper", they then made the thistle the national symbol as it had saved the Kingdom.... They have been a "PRICKLY" bunch every since.

It is  Jelutong Mahogany, 2"x 16" wide By 22 Inches tall.
