United States Marines Corps Emblem-The reasoning here is very simple. I am a Marine. Once you join the Corps, which I did at seventeen years of age, and once you surmount the stress and rigors of Marine Corps Boot camp, you will NEVER again find yourself overly cowed by life or its problems.

You are a Marine then, and that training and pride stays with you a lifetime. Each morning I run up the flag and am privileged to salute it. My God, My Corps and my

Country are so deeply imbedded in my make-up that I could never behave in any other manner.

Even though I no longer wear the uniform of active duty and am not lean and mean ( well perhaps as mean ) as I was when I was seventeen, the PRIDE is still there.

This free standing Emblem of the Corps, Desk size, was presented to Major General James Armstrong, Medal of Honor Winner Viet Nam and a true Gentleman proud of his Scottish heritage.

It was about ten Inches tall.
