MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS-
The Knights were constantly preparing for war of one nature or another. Here they are testing their armor, their horses and saddles and tactics to knock the B-Jeeper's out of any opponent facing them.

One has a Bear Head Crest upon helmet and is hit hard enough that his horses head is thrown up as it
sidesteps to regain balance. Lance would have struck shield and glanced upwards---The other Knight has a small Hawk on his helmet as his crest and it is depicts and where he is from.

In Heraldry, the use of Crests were a means of showing the troops the big Boss was still alive and fighting in WAR so the troops had best keep popping each other or risk the wrath of their Lord and Master; however, once the big shot is defeated, usually killed or captured, the battles ended because they then became the property of the winner.
